“The Canadian Pharmacy Technician Educators Association
(CPTEA) is the national organization of Pharmacy Technician Educators established to lead, advance, support, and promote
excellence in pharmacy technician education.” Mission Statement
It is an association comprised of educators from accredited Pharmacy Technician programs across Canada.
The educators meet annually to share education best practices, discuss regulatory changes and keep informed about changes in the pharmacy profession. This year the annual meeting was held in Halifax, Nova Scotia. And as usual, our Pharmacy Technician staff (Asfiya and Irina) and President (Des) attended to ensure that we stay up to date with our accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
While there was work involved in terms of a day-long conference and an annual general meeting, our crew also took part in a spontaneous trip to the beautiful Peggy’s Cove and the Atlantic coast which Asfiya got to touch for the first time ever. We think that will bring good luck to all who take our Pharmacy Technician program.
