Ontario Career College Admission Requirements

At Algonquin Careers Academy we have a simple and helpful admissions process. Our goal is to meet the needs of our students while adhering to provincial and national college standards. Our admissions team provides you with the most relevant information related to your career training goals. The following outlines the general process for admission into Algonquin Careers Academy.   

Step 1: Meet with an Admissions Advisor

During this first meeting we will discuss your career goals and aspirations. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, learn more about our school and our programs, as well as take a tour of the campus.

Step 2: Complete an Assessment Interview

The assessment interview is required in order to be sure that you have the necessary basic skills and abilities to complete our programs. This assessment will require a review of your prior education and, in some cases, admission testing may be appropriate for you. If you are missing pre-requisites in a specific area, we will provide guidance on how you may obtain them.

Step 3: Finalize Financing and Registration

At this point we can provide you with all the options as far as your tuition financing is concerned. There are a number of options available to you, both federally and provincially.

Step 4: Start your Program

Your first day of class could well be considered the first step towards an exciting, and rewarding, new career.
