Ian Bell, our Paralegal Program Coordinator, in conjunction with our management team, has completed an arrangement with an amazing company - uLawPractice. Ian is a user of uLaw in his own paralegal practice and thought it would be an excellent addition to our Paralegal diploma program for our students.

As part of its curriculum, the Paralegal faculty at Algonquin Careers Academy campuses in Ottawa and Mississauga will be teaching students about practice management and legal accounting while utilizing uLawPractice’s web-based EDU environment.

“This new partnership unlocks the doors of automation for the next generation of paralegals in Ontario. With uLaw, students will learn how to maintain proper books and records with their instructors in the most compliant and economical means available,” says uLaw CEO Terry Curtis.

Students will navigate through uLaw in order to produce necessary documents such as ledgers and time dockets while also learning how to automate trust reconciliation, one of many legal requirements laid out by Law Societies across the country.
