Congratulations to our Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician graduate, Susmita Augni, for being awarded the Medical Laboratory Professionals’ Association of Ontario’s Student Achievement Award! Our MedLab team at ACA nominated Susmita for this award detailing all of the wonderful things that Susmita did as a student of our Ottawa campus. Her instructor, Ann Marie, says: “Susmita is an excellent candidate for this award because of her dedication to her studies and aiding her classmates in their studies as well as contributing to the professionalism of our field.”
The MLPAO wrote the following letter to Susmita.
Dear Susmita;
Upon your successful completion of the Medical Laboratory Technician Program, the faculty of Algonquin Careers Academy – Ottawa campus nominated you for the Medical Laboratory Professionals’ Association of Ontario (MLPAO) 2019 “MLA/T Student Achievement Award”. This award is given by the Association each year to a graduating full-time medical laboratory assistant/technician student who has achieved distinguished academic status and who has made positive, noteworthy contributions to the program during the course of his or her studies.
